Help your customer get the most out of their order without having to remember a code to add to their checkout! Automatically apply a discount at the checkout for any product in your store.

This offer is great to use for your everyday sales or alongside some of the flashier offer types as well!


Getting set up

Choose your Discount type

You can choose from setting a new price, a discount percentage or a discount amount, giving ultimate flexibility and ease to your sale.

Visibility and availability

Create urgency and draw attention to your sale using the sales badges and offer messaging to communicate your offer. Here’s how the discount will show throughout your site:

  • If you have enabled the sales badges, you’ll see them on the Collection page! 
  • Once you’re on the Product page, a banner will show with the messaging you’ve set up in the offer screenshot.
  • When an eligible product is added to the cart, there will be an inline message on the specific product with the success message. 

You can enable or disable the sales badges directly in the offer setup. If you would like to change the colors or appearance of the badges and banners, you can do that in the Appearance settings.

Tip: In the Availability section of the app admin, you can create a schedule for your offer. You can also choose who can take advantage of your offer through requiring customers to log in or creating custom links.

Testing the offer

Head over to the Discount collection here. The offer is for $5 off any items in the collection. Add an item to the cart and see the success message for each product!

Creating standard discounts might seem easy enough, and while not overly complicated, there are definitely steps you can take to maximize your success when creating offers within your store.

Publicize your sale

Promotions should always be advertised on your social media channels, and a simple and straightforward sale is no exception!  Make sure customers are aware that they don’t need a code and that their discount will just show up at checkout.
